What is Music Together®?
Music Together® is an internationally recognized, research-based early childhood music and movement curriculum designed to help little ones develop their innate musicality, while playing, dancing and singing along with the grown ups who love them! Music Together's mission is simple: to bring the joy of music to young children and their parents and caregivers.
What is a Music Together® class like?
Squeaky Wheel Creative offers mixed age (0-5) Music Together classes that are fun, accessible, and engaging. Our class will be 45 minutes of singing, jamming, dancing and playing, allowing babies, kids, and grownups alike to build their musical confidence and skills.
Our music classes are designed to be non-formal and non-performance oriented, so your child can learn at their own pace, in a way that’s developmentally appropriate. The benefits are endless: families report experiencing social, emotional and physical growth, as well as broadened cultural and musical horizons!
We Teach the Way Children Learn
We know that children learn differently than adults. They learn instinctively and constantly, and teach themselves through imitation and play, through being immersed in their environment, and through interaction with adults and older children. The family-like setting of Music Together classes creates an intergenerational, relaxed, no-pressure learning environment which lets all kids learn at their own pace.

Your Role is Essential
Our classes are parent-participation, because you are your child’s most important music teacher! Young children learn through play and experimentation, but also by watching and listening to the grownups they love. Setting an example as an enthusiastic participator in music activities is the best thing any parent or caregiver can do to help set a child on the road to a lifelong love of music. Parents don't need to have music skills—they just need a desire to play and have fun with their children!
